I have been to places like this, and know the people who own them. They are very comfortable to just set on their treasures regardless of prevailing markets. I've seen tractors and equipment rust into the ground and have the owners reject a more than adequate offer only years later to see scrap prices presented to them.
I've been watching an LA Case melt into the ground and having the radiator stolen out of it. Makes me sick to see this happen and knowing that their heirs will only see scrap iron values for it.
