I agree with owning enough old iron to always have a spare or two. Problem starts about December 1st. when its time to start pulling them in for winter repairs. Lots of tractors equals lots of repair bills. I don't hunt, fish, smoke, drink, chase other men's women, or give my money to the Indians, so as long as I don't put my family in financial jeopardy my wife allows me to spend money on this farm. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
