The 13 speed trans mission should have a clutch brake, between the throw out bearing and the front of the transmission. If there are 2 grooves in your input shaft there needs to be one. You can get ones that slip over the shaft without having to remove the transmission. They are called 2 piece ones. I like the one that has 2 short rods that slip into the edge of the brake it they then are squeezed together to snap it in place. There are others available. The one with the 2 drive pins suck to remove after the 2 ears in the grooves are shot. The one with the pin that pushes in when you step on the pedal to engage don't always go in and sling out afterwards. The adjustment should be 1/2 inch from front of Clutch brake to bearing when pedal is up. Then should drop a feeler gage out when the pedal is just up a small bit. The adjustment is made for the 1/2 inch by turning the ring in the Pressure plate. Then adjust the linkage to get the fingers to clear the Throw out bearing by 1/8 or 1/16 inch the free play will vary by truck and adjustment. The 1/2 inch is done first then the other. The fingers for the throwout bearing should pull the bearing away from the pressure plate. When were your pivot bearings in the bell housing last changed and greased. The throwout bearing should also have a grease fitting for it.
