Hi Fred - Put some fuel in a clear bottle, and set it aside near the tractor storage location, so it's at the same temperature. If you see small flakes suspended in the fuel on the cold morning you want to use the tractor, you can expect clogging problems. And it isn't fun, draining the system and clearing the lines in the low temperatures when it happens. I think the quote is "been there, done that". Twice!!!!! I'm told the flakes are the lubricating wax in the fuel, congealing at the low temp. Cutting the fuel 50-50 works; we have limited winter usage, and refill with diesel purchased from local pumps, saving our summer diesel in the storage tanks for next year.
