May be simple as a worn battery solenoid bolt. On Delco solenoids over time the contact washer wears away the bolt head. Try this, remove the ground cable, then remove all wires from the top solenoid battery post bolt. Loosen the inner nut enough to push the bolt IN, give it 1/2 turn, and pull it back out. Tighten the nut, replace all wires and cable, and connect the ground. If not previously done, this will place the unworn bolt head into play. Lots of Delco solenoids can be fixed this way, worth a try.
