Often those "boxes of parts" are odds and ends left from dealer auctions. Not many people need the "auxiliary fan belt pulley" from some old combine or the bracket for some seldom ever breaks part. If he has NOS gauges or other sought after tractor parts, the only reason he still has them is he hasn't tried to sell them, or he wants a wicked high price for them.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
