Are you saying Marathon or Phillips is selling dirty fuel?
I do look in gas cans for dirt.
The spout I attach to gas cans is kept clean in a Ziplock.
Vent on Kawasaki first goes through a charcoal filter and an inline paper filter.
I can't figure out how tank has dirt in it unless it falls off the Kaw gas cap when I remove it. That's why I would like to make a screen filter like I have on JD garden tractor and 3 other devices to keep the crap out.
My fuel pump has a sock like filter attached to the intake. I can't imagine how all the dirt gets in. I happy so far no damage to pump or injectors.
