My Dad and brother bought a new CIH 495 about 1992 to replace an IH 384 and part of the deal was it had to have a belt pulley as they had a 3pt buzz saw that ran off the belt pulley on the PTO of the 384. The deal found a new belt pulley for a 54/74/84 series tractor at another CIH dealer and it ran of the 1000 RPM PTO. Then it was discovered it ran in the opposite direction than the 384 belt pulley and there was no room to do a cross on the belt for the buzz saw. Solution was Dad took 495 and pulley from 384 to local welding shop and he made an adapter for 495 that allowed 384 pulley to go on 540 PTO on 495.
So belt pulley for IH/CIH 54/74/84/95 series tractor was still available in early 1990s.

Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
