The weather should be cooling down soon so I feel it's time to get the chainsaw up in shape. If it's over 60 degrees it's too hot for me to cut much wood, I like to do that chore when it's a little on the cool side. My Wife and Mother would just as soon I didn't run the chainsaw at all no more stable that I am on my feet but I just don't feel like I want to give up on it yet. It does hurt when I fall over with a running chainsaw because I have to concentrate on where that blade is when I go over, not a good thing to come into contact with that, so I cannot catch myself when I land. My Son ran it the other day, he took the chainsaw from me. My Wife, Son and Son's Fiance were ganging up on me. I had never let him run it before, I suppose he can do it, he is 30 years old. They had just about crapped when the limb that I was cutting up happened to roll over on me. It didn't hurt that much and if anything bad happened I'd rather it happened to me than my son.
Anyhow, I got my air filter changed. I had been putting it off so the old filter was pretty well gunked up.
