I recently went to an auction and came home with a pallet full of top links. Most of them were seized up but I've been working on getting a few of them loose. Some of them I have no use for so I'm probably going to just hang them up in the barn. I was going to coat the threads with oil but got to thinking that might collect dust and help them lock up again. Any suggestions on what to use? I'd like to keep them free so when the youngster decides to sell off stuff after I'm gone they'll still be ok.
