The acrylic pans are fine. Don't get the pvc ones. Go by weight and pay the extra $. Heavy is better. Always set it in a mud base. I haven't installed one in a few years though so there might be new products out there. Concrete and tile is still the best. They are higher maintenance - cleaning, etc, but last about forever. I poured this one yesterday. Quickcrete 5K concrete and a pvc pan liner under it. Will pull the forms off this afternoon.
