Advance Auto Part is my normal. I would call them and check the price and then call O'Reilly. O'Reilly was always a little bit higher but they would match the competition. I tried them once and they called the competition for the price and gave me the same price. I decided I wasn't going to play that game. I don't go there unless Advance doesn't have the part. If Advance doesn't have the part it usually means that neither of them stock the part. I think that Advance Auto and Auto Zone merged sometime in the last year. If I go to one town O'Reilly is a little bit closer and the other town Advance is a little closer. These stores are 25 to 30 miles away. We have 4 small town Napa stores 6, 9 10 and 16 miles away. Three are owned by the the same company. Evidently the fourth guy doesn't want to rile the guy with 3 stores. They are all too high priced.
H usually only buy from them if I am in dire need and no reason to go to bigger towns.
