Speaking of Coca-Cola I had some old wrenches that are probably 75 years old from my Dad. They were in an old metal box and in a shed for probably 35 years. Anyway I put a new shop in the barn (took the haymow floor out and added a large work bench, etc). Well my 10 year old grand son and I were going through these old tools and they were completely rusted bad I debated about sending them to recycle or saving them. I got 4 liters of Coke put the wrenches in a large pan and covered them with coke. Left them there for 3 weeks. The coke got really crappy, drained the coke off, pressure washed the wrenches and you can't believed how they cleaned up. It's easy to read the sizes, they are not shiny but they are clean. IowaBob
