One of the best moves I made was replacing my so-called "first round" tractor, which was a MF 533 (2007 version of 135), with a Kubota L6060.
I use the first round tractor and mower to open things up before switching off to a larger tractor/mower combination. I also use it to mow small parcels and parcels with many obstacles requiring continual direction reversal, speed changes, etc. I use a Woods BB720X HD 6' cutter with it.
The 533 was a decent little inexpensive 2WD tractor with adequate power but had a 4X2 non synchronized transmission and dry, drum brakes. It was also trouble prone.
The 6060 has about 10 more PTO HP, is hydrostat, FWA, and has all of the bells and whistles. It has reduced my mowing time as much as 50% in some heavily obstructed parcels. It also cost about three times as much as the 533.
