I see a limited market for it.Around here anybody who cuts wood does it all with a chain saw.No one here puts up pole wood anymore.I own quite a few tractor mounted saw rigs and have not had one on tractor in 35 years.Out in the cow pasture I have a pto driven saw rig on trailer I built in 1989 I have not used in 15 years.It takes a good crew to cut pole wood.In the winter growing up we use to cut at least two wagon loads of pole wood every other saturday.The person standing throwing wood got mighty cold feet standing there.Spent alot of days in the spring cutting pole wood with dad to dig out in the winter.You might find a buyer who who has access to slab wood or wants a yard decoration.Scott

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
