Due to have the test again this year myself, and naturally, not looking forward to it. Who would but a nut? When I went for my last check, I only had to drink the purge concoction the day before, believe it was called shitteasy, and eat no soils food. I was allowed to drink cranberry juice. And nothing is any redder than cranberry juice. Nurse at the pre op in the hospital suggested a little Vodka in the purge concoction makes the entire ordeal easier to put up with. Just don’t over do it, as you still need to make your way to the toilet, and fasten your seat belt once seated. My brother had a tumour removed from his colon eight years ago, and under went three rounds of chemo therapy, A huge ordeal for him, and scared the rest of us into getting checked, so far we have been clear.
