I’m not totally familiar with the Kubota series model you mention.
The Ford would be the older style import from Japan, which was a very good tractor. It is not so well supported by New Holland any more. Mostly I would be scared of broken parts in a mfwd, but you say it is a 2wd so I guess that wouldn’t be a concern.
I’ve never owned one, but I really like Kubota. They make and support their stuff pretty good. Since I’m not familiar with that model, is it for sure a USA model machine? There are ‘grey market’ tractors that get imported to the USA as Japanese tractors, imported used. They may or may not share parts with the USA models. The parent companies do not want to support or sell parts for the grey market machines, so be careful of that.
In general these smaller import tractors, with a loader, really need a front wheel assist. You can get by without, if you aren’t in snow and if you aren’t in wet clay you can do ok. But a person really appreciated front wheel assist when you have it with a loader!
The older bigger USA farm tractors are weighted differently, and can work fine without the front wheel assist. But the newer lighter stuff it is something to consider.
I’m sure you need to work within a budget, and so going with either of those machines is going to be a lot better than owning a shovel and a wheel barrow! I do like both those types of tractors, with the considerations I mentioned.
