I don't know how steep your land is but I have a mountain on my place and I cut a good amount of firewood off of it and I mostly use two tractors to go up there and haul the firewood back.Two Allis Chalmers tractors a CA and a D15 both are 2WD and Narrow Front to boot they go all over some steep terrain pulling a trailer no problem.A fellow I knew made a living logging this area of the country with a group of Farmall M tractors so I can't see how you'd have any problem getting around in the woods.Really you need a good size old tractor that can be bought cheap just to use in the woods as if you get one of these new tractors you'll be knocking the plastic off it in no time flat and probably puncture the fiber fuel tank many have under the tractor rather than on top where it should be.
