I grew up in a community that would have home grown talent at dances , wedding shower parties, etc, that would sound much like that.. my oldest brother played rhythm guitar, another farmer neighbor played violin, while a neighbor lady played the piano. My Dad called off square dance calls. And the last time on your video, was a favourite round dance tune to square dance to. My brother is the only one of this musical trio left, and he has taken up the fiddle. He and I get together once and a while, and I’ll play rhythm guitar while he runs through some of those old dance tunes.
