JD I have a tear running down my cheek. Your story really hits home for me. My mother passed from cancer at 46 years old leaving my dad lonely until he remarried but the loss never ended. He moved out of the farmhouse and bought a house in town. This farmhouse had too many memories.
Marilyn and I but mostly Marilyn has been helping her sister through a 5 1/2 year battle with cancer. Last week the doctors told her sister the chemo is not working. Now we have gone from fighting to still fighting but preparing for the end.
I know your tractor will stay in the family forever as a tribute to your dear late wife and what a good tribute it is.

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
