I remember a customer putting in a new short block in his MF 65 gas with the G176 Continental, the original spring clip cap Delco would not fit the new block, had to buy a Delco two screw cap for the MF 165 model as Continental made a block change at the distributor hole and hold down. Dealer I worked for only sold one late 165 with the Perkins AG4.212, but we did service a few state highway tractors with the Perkins three cylinder engine. The shop MF 2500 forklift had that engine also.
