About the only thing alike is the paint. Basically Kioti does try to mimic Kubota . They come around shows take pictures and go back to Korea and build a tractor. I have never understood the logic of buying one but someone here said $15 thousand less. I have never found those kind of price breaks. They do have a funny marketing strategy , if one will sign on as a dealer and order 10 tractors they give you a 10% wholesale cost break in hope that as a dealer that will make you cheaper and help sell the units. What it really does is put the guy that took on Kioti last year right up the road out of business. So what we have seen is most dealers last about two years and are gone. So parts and service are somewhat problematic. Have seen good and bad out of the tractors, have had folks come into the dealership wanting to trade them for a KUBOTA and the trade value is just not there. If you buy one you need to be prepared to like it, because getting you money back on trade is doubtful.
