I just purchased a Ford 801 tractor that had been setting for a couple of years. I got it running great but the 3-point lift does not work. I clean out the hyd. reservoir and replaced the fluid. I vented all the air out of the system, the pump seems to work great, with top 3"x5" plate removed it will blow fluid 6'; in the air. When I replace the small cover and start the engine I do not get any fluid to the lifting mechanism. I have already pulled the big cover and installed a LCRK. I need your help. It seems that when I replace the small cover I am blocking all hyd. fluid.
