I once worked at a place that use to sell leylands. they were imported with a 30 wt.transmission oil that proved to be too thick here in the winter especially with loader work. the oil was changed to a hydraulic oil such as hytran or hyguard. since your climate is similar to southern minnesota except we do get a little colder and if your tractor has to go i would use a 10w-30 in the winter and a 30 wt. in the summer. if it doesnt get workd hard in the summer you could use the 10-30 year round. as for the gas i use marvel mystery oil in the gas in my oliver 77 farmall M john deere B the 504 farmall and ford 8n. the 77 and the 504 have to start in the winter so i use a bout a half to 1 quart in the engine oil this helps thin the oil a little and reduces engine drag when starting.
