Seems to me to be a disaster, but we really need to know what you want to do with the dozer. Dozers are kept in service until their repair cost to keep them going exceeds their work return. Then they sit and rust solid. But::: If you need a dozer, and you find the miracle dozer that is good enough to be repaired enough to do what you need, and that the cost of that repair (including labor you put into it) is less than the cost of renting a dozer to do the tasks you have in mind, then my recommendation is be careful. The last tread fall that the dozer made when it was shut off happened for a reason. Your tractor is operational. a 1500$ dozer is probably scrap price, and nearly impossible to get to the scrap yard.
