Yes, the foot pedals work well. On mine, the master cylinders are missing for some reason so I just use the handbrake when needed. Hard to tell in the picture but my cab and floor are somewhat rusted. Likely a snow clearing machine at one time.... I'm surprised at how well the paint has held up though. It'll take a bit of heavy lifting to get at the block. Same engine as a Massey 175, I'm told. Looks from here like there's a warp in the battery cover. I like mine though, even with all it's issues. Dunno how I got along without one. I'm glad, though, I didn't pay any more than I did.
PS, looks like the bottom door may be missing, mine swings out. I see too, there's a patch on the fuel tank. Wonder what the story is on that. Mine was full of algae or something and kept plugging filters, so I mounted a tank from an old Dexta on the right hand door and fender. Looks funny but works.

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
