I feel your pain. My mother came to live with me 3 years ago. (She was going to stay a few weeks) I love and care for my mom but she drives me CRAZY!
She gives my dogs treats all day long and makes special food for them. I have lost two dogs since she has been here. They were not young but I think they would've been around a few more years if I could've got her to quit feeding them. Now my border collie is getting chubby and she doesn't eat much of her own food.
