When I was looking for a hauler to haul a tractor about 600 miles I went thru USHIP and it ended up being the best price I could find ended up costing me right at $900 and the hauler had to pay $130 in tolls coming out of the NE US.The hauler was a very professional older gentleman did a great job.With USHIP I felt a lot better about the whole deal as they held the money for the haul in escrow until the tractor was delivered and I had it released to the hauler.The hauler sent me email updates all along the way too.Not saying there are not other very good haulers around,but it wouldn't hurt to bid it on USHIP might catch a back haul at a good rate or something.BTW its going to cost a good bit of money for the haul you're want.Might want to contact Fred Goodrich he has a yard near you and he has a lot of tractors and equipment hauled into his place.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
