The damage to the road was clear in the two videos I saw. Your thinly veiled comments about the police officers make it clear whom you are ready to blame. I am clear. It is unregulated amateurs who caused this tragedy. Perhaps the engine was inspected, perhaps the operator was an expert. No matter. In your words, "bottom line" is anyone who participates in this unregulated activity is a contributor to the deaths. Hopefully, legislators across America will make note of this incident and tighten regulatory guidelines. Hobby participants have not shown themselves to be responsible enough to push for safety regulations; it is truly a tragedy that four had to die, and many had to be maimed, to push this issue along. I looked at three different web sites devoted to the hobby. None had links to "safety". Two had search capabilities; a search of these two web sites for "safety" returned a lot of valves for sale, but no articles addressing safety.
