Nah, even the current OBDII controlled cars generally have no problem with solid wire plug lines. The system compensates for it. The radio interference issue is also quite overblown. Definately a factor back when the world used mechanically tuned AM radio's; but modern electronic tuning FM radios usually have no problem with solid wire plug lines. Now on a Chrysler, going to an aftermarket radio can certainly screw up the engine computer. It takes a special company to use the stereo as the voltage control for the engine computer. :-)
