One of the darn few things I recall from studying insurance law wayyyyyyyyyyy back in law school was its pretty much governed by good old fashion well settled LAW OF CONTRACTS which is almost as old as property law......If you have a contract stating you get x coverage for x time period that's binding but ONLY until the time expires at which time sure things can change and you can then choose to agree or not.
