I liove in Ohio just across the Indiana border. In Ohio it could not be done because they take your picture that is put on the licence as well as doing the eye test. Second last time getting my licence test I barly passed vision, last time easy, I think they changed requirements to make it easier. I don't need to renew my licence untill Sept of 21 and I dought I will be around that long. Back in 60's or 70's Ohio required a statement from Dr that you could see. Grandpa even tho we knew he could not see to drive got that statement and got his licence so with doing it in office prevents you from getting the statement from Dr that you can see and you having never seen the Dr that said you could see good enough to drive. So no way on line. And I will not renew plates either on line or by mail, always in person.
