Well A lot of fellows do not believe it but the premium JD compact tractors have been made in Augusta, GA for over 25 years. The current model in the under 40 HP would be the 2000R and 3000R series tractors. Examples would be the 2032R which is 31.7 gross HP and 23.5 PTO HP and the 3039R with 39 gross HP and 31.1 PTO HP. They have US built Yanmar engines in them. The drive line is mainly made by Spicer.
Then for a little larger tractors The older 5000 series utility tractors where made in Augusta, GA starting in 1992 to 2017. You have to be buying the premium tractor not the cheaper models. My 2001 JD 5210 was made in Augusta. 47 PTO HP. The later ones would have been the 5M series tractors. Like the 5075M 75 gross HP and 60 PTO. The current models are the New 4000R series. An example is the 4052R which is 51.5 gross HP and 39.9 PTO HP.
You have to really watch the 5000 series models of tractors after about 2003. They brought out the 5003 series that was made in India. At the same time the 5015 tractors where made in Mexico. While the 5025 series was still being made in the Augusta, GA. plant. So at that time the last numbers told you where they where made. Then it went to the letter on the end C, D, and E, means they were made in Mexico or India. While the M tractors were made in Augusta GA.
