I have posted this before. One of the few "Happy" times I can remember between my Mother and Father was them dancing together in the early 1950s. They were great at the Swing and Jitterbug styles. They went to dance competitions and usually where in the top group at them.
My Mother started teaching the Grand daughters the Swing and Jitterbug dancing years ago. My oldest grand daughter can dance both those styles just like my Mother. While she was stationed in Germany she was able to go to a lot of dances where some of the younger people are dancing these older style of dances. She has a video of her and a German lad dancing the Jitterbug with which they won that night's dance completion. They where sure dancing their hearts out. I never could move like they where.
I will tell you this you have to be in good shape to really go all out dancing either of those styles also. Not many of the people today could do them. The older ones just because of our age and the younger ones because they are lot of them out of shape.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
