Case bale help revisited, with model no.

The problem child is a Case #133, no idea how old, sat for 6 years but with a condensor started and made 350 bales with only 3 "no-ties". The problem is that the bales comes out badly bent, top side long, and the top string positioned very low on the bale. We tightened the tension gradually that helped. Also tried alternating top and bottom tension, no help. Tried raising ground speed and slowing the baler(self powered), no help except to beat me to death. The slot the string runs in is part of the chute, no adjustment. I can move the needles and tying mechanism a max of about 3/4", definitely not worth the terrifying possiblities of misaligning everything. Anyone have a similar problem and solved it?
