Greg, When I was restoring muscle cars back about 15 years ago, there were books on how to make copies of parts. There is a plentiful supply of books on how to restore cars and make parts. These books showed how to make rubber seals, and all sorts of emblems. I would recommend that you consider making the emblem from zinc. It has a lower melting point than aluminum and easier to replicate at home. The molds can be made from plaster if you have an old part from which to make it. Be careful with the plaster, however, making sure it is thoroughly dried. The moisture in these molds can rapidly expand when pouring the molten metal and "explode". These copies can have quite a bid of detail in them, but they will be about 5% smaller than the original because of shrinkage. Good luck. Ken McWilliams Dayton, OH
