There was quite an upheaval for a few decades there to say the least. I can get parts for my David Brown built Oliver from the CaseIH dealer and for my Fiat built Oliver from the New Holland dealer. Case sold rebranded Hesston forage equipment,CaseIH sold New Idea forage equipment,then CaseIH sold rebranded Hesston forage equipment. White was merged with New Idea,then AGCO ended up with White,New Idea and Hesston. I believe there was even a time that you could buy a CaseIH forage harvester from a White-New Idea dealer as a New Idea 600 or 800. I think things have been settled down long enough now for some to forget just how muddled things were for a while there.
