Many of the rowcrop tractors produced into the sixties were bought with mounted harvesting equipment such as cotton pickers&strippers or corn pickers. By the mid sixties the rowcrop tractors and mounted harvesters were being resplaced by larger tractors and self-propelled pickers and combines. In the Mississippi Delta many a Super M or 560 Farmall has been pulled out of the fencerow to run aerators in the catfish ponds. Logging more hours sitting still than they ever did in the field.
