That happened to a local guy here years ago. His barn caught on fire and the tractor blocking the door wouldn't start. He lost all his tractors. After that whenever my dad was at an auction he came home with every chain they had. He left them laying underneath all his tractors. His theory was if one wouldn't start he could hook on and pull them out. To this day there's still every sort of rusty old chain imaginable here. I'm still a big believer in keeping tractors in some type of shelter.
