I wouldn't right it off just yet. Those are pretty simple units to repair. 115-230 is now know as 120-240. If the stator and rotor are in good shape. It may just need new bearings which are pretty cheap. Clean and make sure the brushes are free. You need to remove the shield and check the condition of the brush rig.
