did you use genuine ih farmall parts? i have a friend that done the same type job and he used aftermarket parts and had all kinds of trouble until he finally went and got genuine factory parts and then no more trouble. also did you change out the pilot bearing? those are supposed to be changed when doing a clutch job. i would try to make adjustments and if that does not work then go back in and change the pilot bearing and throughly inspect everything. also just because the parts are new is no guarantee that they are not defective.
