I have numerous old tractors from 1935 on. Each time when i bought one, i ran them untill warm, dumped the oil, and put in 15w40 Rotella T. This is the oil i use in my new tractors, and i've never had any problems at all!!
Untill i bought the barrel of Rotella, i was useing up a barrel of Delo 400 30w. I've never had a problem with that oil either.
