Ah yes, I had the same experience with JD yellow some 5 years ago, when the store was Central Tractor. I painted one wheel on my H, looked real great for about 6 weeks and then faded to a bland whiteish yellow. I am still mad about it and haven't decided how best to fix. I guess I'll try painting over as the prep was good. LESSON TO ALL::::: Buy paint brands known to be high quality. I have had excellect results with Dupont Centari, PPG Ditzler, and John Deere's paint products. The JD primer-sealer gets used on everything I paint now, the sealer part is key. Dupont also has a very good sealer. As to the Quality Stores, they are pretty bad in this area, little or no inventory, not same brands all the time and lousy service, along with paint that is crap.
