I’ve posted these pictures many times, but we’ll do her again...
The 1935 Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton grain truck was my grandfathers. My uncle got it from him in 64 and used it everyday to feed silage until 1987. I bought it a few years ago and went through and brought it back up to running condition. I drive it everyday doing chores and running between farms and even sometimes to town. It isn’t efficient and those mechanical brakes give your thigh a workout but I still love running it like they did. I do hose it off every so often but I don’t think I’ll ever do any body work. Everyone knows her like she is.
My 886 I do winter chores with if it isn’t too muddy for two wheel drive. There are lots better loader tractors out there (and two others on this farm) but I really love the 86 for some reason. She fertilizes in the fall and spring, pulls the drill for wheat, and runs the batwing mower. Hay season I sometimes run 10 hours a day in it and love every minute. I’m the second owner with about 3800 hours on her now.

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
