Just abrasion alone from hard sharp silica in the soil milling ruber off the treads as they sink into the soil driving without a load will wear tires.
A tire carcess squirms as it rolls the bars widen/narrow & the spacing between the bars widen & narrow. Tire wear is worst of all places driving down the highway.
