Called this AM and was told I could have it so, since it was only 27b I took it in bags and stacked it in the shed on a pallet. Pallet was more of an issue than the corn. Remembered I had stacked them all on a hay wagon and parked them over next to the woods. Tried to start the 4 wheeler but the battery had given up the ghost. Tractors are all washed and in the barn and the place is mud from end to end so I got it in my head I would walk over there and carry a pallet back. Hauling a pallet 1/4 mile down a muddy slippery lane, over a fence and then stacking 1500 lbs of corn sacks on it was more exercise than I have had in a month...but it is done. We said our farewells and wished everyone at the elevator well. A sad thing. Those fellas have been very helpful since I started with grain. Answering questions and giving advice or moral support. Hate to see it.
