Great post sounds like you have stirred up the nest. Myself maybe not a duty but surely a deep appreciation for those that have and those that will continue to do so. The whole evolution of the tractor and the men and probably some women that were a part of the history of tractors is quite amazing. When I look at old tractors I can’t help but picture some guy out in the field who has been plowing. He started at O Dark thirty and is having his wife bring him dinner so he can finish and hit hard again the next day. I imagine a fella some were in a dark factory casting parts for the next tractor. Or someone in a machine shop milling parts. Some fella siting in a office some where trying to figure out how he could possibly squeeze 3 more horse power from a 2 cylinder engine. Our in my case a time when maybe things were not so complicated. Anyway a good thought provoking post.
