If you go to Yellowstone stop at the museum in Cody WY on the way through. Also the Custer battle filed at Crow Agency MT US-212 is a much better road than used to be. You used to be able to check your own tail lights it was so crooked. Now it has some slow traffic lanes on the hills. I would not run it at night. Long ways to nothing if broke down. Pretty drive though. All of this can be done on the round trip. If you go to Glacier there is the Charles M. Russell museum in Great Falls MT on the way A nice sight at night is going out by the airport at Billings set at the top along the cliff there you can see the lights of Billings from above the city. So now you could have a whole itinerary.
