I did that on a 60. I cut the pressure line from the pump,threaded it,put a half inch black steel fitting on each end after taking a short section out. I brazed the fittings on after screwing them on since the line is so thin and the threads weren't very deep. I ran a hose to the steering unit from the pump side of the line and ran another hose back from the return on the unit and back to the pressure line. Only drawback was that if I used the remotes while I was turning,it would lock the steering wheel up.
