Many people do.....It's a shame that it has to come to that.
New York is a beautiful part of our country and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. At 77, I probably don't have a whole lot of time left so I will probably be able to "tough it out" and never have to move.
The upcoming generations may not be so fortunate.
You will notice that as the rural people move out, the people from the urban areas (with lots of money) buy up the land as it becomes available.
Some, but not all, bring their abundant views with them which, more and more makes the line between the reds and blues less distinguishable.
